Terms

These terms explain how enquiries and applications submitted through this website work. Participation in a confirmed session or paid programme is covered by separate terms shared before anyone commits.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

What these terms cover

These terms cover the enquiry and application forms on this website. Three things are possible here: asking about a free trial for your child, asking about hosting a trial in a community or a school, and applying to become a Baselete Captain.

They do not cover taking part in a session, and they do not cover a paid programme. Those are separate arrangements with their own terms, described below.

Making an enquiry

Sending a form starts a conversation. It does not reserve a place, confirm a session, or commit either of us to anything.

Free trial enquiries currently concern Hyderabad. Community and school trials are free.

Before a hosted trial is confirmed, we discuss approval, a suitable space, the date and the practical arrangements with whoever is responsible. A trial happens only once those are agreed. You can enquire before you have spoken to whoever approves the space.

Schools

A free trial for students is a starting point. If a school wants to continue beyond it, the format, during school hours, after school, or something else, and the commercial arrangements are agreed separately with the school. Nothing on this website sets those terms or quotes a price.

Applying to be a Captain

Applying puts you into selection. It is not an offer of a place, training or work.

Every applicant goes through the same selection pathway. Screening and background verification are mandatory.

  1. Apply and screen. Share your background and availability. We discuss your interest in working with children and suitability for the role.
  2. Background verification. Complete the required verification as part of selection. Identity documents are requested separately and must not be submitted through the website form.
  3. Induct and train. Learn the Baselete method, age groups, safety expectations, session structure, movement demonstrations and parent interaction.
  4. Practical audition and knowledge check. Deliver a practical activity block and demonstrate understanding of the Baselete method and safety expectations.
  5. Shadow and assist. Observe sessions, support an experienced Captain and practise working with children under guidance.
  6. Certification and opportunities. Applicants who pass the Baselete standard may be considered for suitable session opportunities based on location, availability and programme needs.

The current Academy includes two training days within the induct and train step. Completing training does not automatically guarantee certification. Certification does not guarantee session assignments or employment. Baselete certification applies only to the Baselete method. It is not a government or university qualification.

Part-time applicants are welcome. Schedule and compensation are discussed during selection. Current Academy training is free; future changes are communicated before commitment.

Please do not send identity documents through the application form. Anything needed for verification is handled later in selection, and we will tell you what it is when you reach that stage.

What an enquiry is not agreement to

Sending a form on this website does not, by itself, mean you have agreed to any of the following. Each has its own step, and none of them is assumed:

  • Being photographed or filmed, or having your child photographed or filmed, for publicity or any other purpose.
  • Receiving marketing. No form here asks you to opt in, and none sends anything automatically.
  • Enrolling in, or paying for, any programme.
  • Any verification beyond what the application process itself involves, for applicants who reach that stage.
  • Waiving any right, or accepting any limitation of responsibility.

Where a requirement applies to taking part in a session, or where a paid programme has its own terms, we set those out and agree them with you before the commitment, not through this website.

Your information

What each form collects, where it goes and who processes it is described on our privacy page. That page explains how we handle information; it is not a permission for anything listed above, each of which is asked for separately.

Photographs on this website

The images on this site are generated reference pictures used while real photography is prepared. They are not photographs of children who attend Baselete.

Accuracy of this site

We keep this website current, but it describes a programme that is still being built and details can change. Where something here differs from what we agree with you directly, what we agreed with you directly applies.
